Christmas Entertaining, Demonstration and Lunch

At Christmas time it is good to have a few tasty but easy recipes up your sleeve whether for canapés, starters, main courses, puddings or for using up leftovers. These recipes will become reliable standbys. Most of the recipes can be prepared in advance but the others are quick and easy to put together. 

Lunch will be served with a glass of wine after the demonstration and there will be an opportunity to taste all the food that has been prepared during the morning. Arrive at 10.15am for coffee and homemade biscuits and we will start at 10.30am. The demonstration will take approximately 1 ½ hours and the event will finish at 1.30pm. Come and join us and bring friends so that you can have your own pre- Christmas celebration.

Recipes demonstrated will be:

Seared Prawns with Orange Miso sauce

Roasted Beetroot, Squash, Goats Cheese and mixed Green Salad with Spiced Pecans and Orange Chive Vinaigrette

Turkey and Buckwheat Salad with Green Beans, Toasted Hazelnuts, Rocket and Tomato and Ginger Dressing

Chinese 5 Spice Duck Breast with Spinach Salad and Pomegranate Saki Dressing

Chocolate and Raspberry Meringue Cake

Amaretti and Orange Iced Parfait with Spiced Plums
