Leila took our 6 Month Diploma Course and graduated in March 2014. Since leaving Leila has worked with various catering companies and is now based in Norfolk where she is freelancing for catering companies and cooking for her own private clients.

We asked Leila to talk about the time she spent with us at ENTCS and where her training has led her up to now.

Hannah Innes completed the Six Month Diploma at Edinburgh New Town Cookery School in 2014.

Since then she has been working hard in the kitchens of fine dining establishments in Edinburgh to hone the skills she learnt at the Cookery School. She now runs her own business and works as a freelance chef. Here she explains how she turned her hobby into her career.

Rukmini Iyer, former student on Three Month Intermediate Certificate Course and MasterChef contestant 2013.

Originally from Cambridgeshire, Rukmini studied English Literature at Edinburgh University and went to law school in London.  After two years working as a trainee solicitor, she realised that cooking was her real passion and decided to pursue a career doing what she loved.

After studying Developmental Biology at Edinburgh University and gaining a Masters and an MPhil, Daniela Gattegno spent three years as a research fellow at the Veterinary School at Edinburgh University.

She realised that while the people and projects were all great, she just wasn't happy in her day to day job.  A bold and brave decision and a delve into the unknown, Daniela left her research job to pursue her passion.
