Weekday “10 to 2” course - Beginners/Intermediate
Beginners/Intermediate Weekday “10 to 2” course takes place every Tuesday for 4 weeks from 10am – 2pm.
Each week you will cover a different method of cooking. The techniques are covered thoroughly so that you will feel comfortable and competant to try other recipes using the same technique at home. For example:
Week 1 - Pastry and Eggs, recipes may include: Shortcrust Pastry, Quiche Lorraine, Lemon Curd, Lemon Meringue Pie, Creme Caramel.
Week 2 - Meat Cookery, recipes may include: Lambe Tagine, Stuffed Chicken Breasts with Parma Ham, Beef Stew.
Week 3 - Fish Cookery, recipes may include: Salmon with a Sweet Hot Crust, Sea Bass with a Mango and Chilli Salsa, Pan Fried Halibut with Salsa Verde.
Week 4 - Baking, recipes may include: White Bread, Black Sticky Gingerbread, Coffee and Walnut Cake, Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.
