Gluten Free baking

If you or someone in your household has been told that they are gluten intolerant or that they have coeliac disease then it is important that they do not eat foods containing gluten. This means that baking can be a challenge but shouldn't be impossible as we all need a treat now and again! However by substituting some other ingredients for wheat flour you can produce the most delicious cakes, bakes and pastries. On this one day Gluten Free Baking course at Edinburgh New Town Cookery School we will cook both sweet and savoury gluten free recipes which you will want to repeat again and again.

The day starts at 9.45 am. In the morning you will cook some dishes suitable for lunch and in the afternoon you will continue cooking so that you can take your lovely baking home for the cake tin or freezer. The day draws to a close at 4pm
