Family Fare
This day’s course is designed to help you solve some of the problems of cooking for a family. It is easy to get into a rut of cooking the same old things because you know how to cook them, they are easy and everyone eats them. But it is good to broaden children’s horizons with what they eat and to encourage them to try new dishes. Some of the dishes on the course will be quick, last minute dishes whilst others can be prepared ahead and frozen. We will give you recipes that makes family cooking a joy rather than a chore. We will demonstrate some of the dishes to you but the majority of the day is hands-on cooking. Bring plenty of containers to take your food home with you. The day starts at 9.45 with a cup of coffee and we will start cooking at 10am. There will be a break for lunch for you to try the dishes cooked so far with a glass of wine and the day will draw to a close at approximately 4pm.
